The Jornadas de Vida Cristiana Movement (MJVC) is a Catholic Ecclesial Movement under the care of the Diocesan Bishop of Brooklyn. The mission of the MJVC is to evangelize young men and women following the motto "youth evangelizing youth.” By its very nature, it is a Hispanic movement, which promotes the Spanish language and culture within the MJVC.
However, as a catholic movement the MJVC serves all cultures, and races in the community. The MJVC provides a means for religious instruction and to deepen the spiritual and apostolic life of youth and young adults. It is vocational in so far that it helps young people discern and develop their role within the Church as priests, religious, or laity toward their universal call to holiness.
